In this role you will add value to PXP by:                                             

As a QA Engineer at PXP, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining the technology that powers our payment platform. This is a hands-on, collaborative position where you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build and refine high-performance applications in a fast-paced, agile environment.

A typical week might involve:              

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions on the PXP platform.
  • Designing end-to-end architecture for highly complex projects, covering gateway and acquiring services across multiple verticals.
  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Leading the technical implementation, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of the solution.
  • Providing guidance and technical leadership to development teams.
  • Conducting architecture reviews and ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
  • Identifying and mitigating technical risks and challenges.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

 We are looking for someone who:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of C# .NET Core, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Familiarity with SpecFlow for behaviour-driven development (BDD) testing.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and agile practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

 We would love someone to have any of the following:

  • Online payments and financial systems 
  • Understanding of the challenges in an enterprise, multi-server, multithreading system
