We’re on a dynamic path to redefine what’s possible, with a powerful portfolio that’s set to surpass the competition and position us as a global leader. This is your chance to join us at a pivotal moment in our journey, where your work can make an extraordinary impact.

If you've ever dreamed of being part of something remarkable from the beginning, this is your opportunity. As we grow, your role will shape the future, impact customers worldwide, and drive us toward becoming a game-changer in payments. Join us, and let’s create something truly groundbreaking together.

In this role you will add value to PXP by:

As the Product Owner for our Alternative Payment Methods (APM) offering, you will own and drive the development of capabilities that enable PXP to expand and scale the alternative payment methods available to our customers. You will work across the APM product lifecycle, from identifying and prioritising new payment methods and defining requirements through to integration, launch, optimisation and ongoing development.

The role involves working closely with engineering teams, payment providers, internal stakeholders and customers to turn business and market requirements into scalable product capabilities. You will manage and prioritise the APM product backlog while ensuring that new integrations and features fit effectively within PXP’s wider payments platform and product portfolio.

A typical week as a Product Owner might involve:

  • Own and prioritise the product backlog for PXP’s Alternative Payment Methods capabilities.
  • Define requirements and user stories for new APM integrations, features and enhancements.
  • Work closely with engineering teams throughout development, integration, testing and release.
  • Work with APM providers and partners to understand their capabilities, integration requirements and product changes.
  • Engage with customers and internal Commercial, Operations and Technology teams to understand requirements and identify opportunities to improve the APM offering.
  • Support the assessment and prioritisation of new payment methods based on customer requirements, commercial opportunities and market needs.
  • Ensure APM functionality integrates effectively with PXP’s wider payment processing capabilities and customer experience.
  • Analyse product usage, customer feedback and operational data to identify opportunities for optimisation and future development.

We are looking for someone who:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, ideally within payments, fintech or wider financial services.
  • Has a strong understanding of digital payments and the payment processing ecosystem, ideally including Alternative Payment Methods.
  • Has experience translating customer, commercial and technical requirements into clear product requirements and actionable user stories.
  • Is comfortable working closely with engineering teams on integrations, APIs and payment-related technical requirements.
  • Is familiar with Agile methodologies and tools such as DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Has excellent communication skills and can work effectively across Product, Technology, Commercial and operational teams.
  • Has an analytical mindset and can use customer feedback, product data and business requirements to inform priorities and product decisions.

We would love someone to have any of the following:

  • Direct experience working with Alternative Payment Methods, payment gateways, PSPs or acquiring platforms.
  • Experience delivering integrations with external payment providers using APIs.
  • Understanding of different payment types and customer journeys across areas such as wallets, bank-based payments and other local payment methods.
  • Experience working with payment products across multiple countries or markets.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving payments environment where product, commercial and technical priorities need to be balanced.

What we can offer you:

You will be joining us at a pivotal moment, where your contributions will directly shape our growth and future success, setting you on the ground floor of something extraordinary.

At PXP, we don’t just offer a job, we offer an opportunity to build something extraordinary. You’ll work on transformative projects, collaborate with passionate colleagues, and see the tangible impact of your efforts on our journey to becoming a global payments leader.
